Phi Kappa Psi
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE LAST 40 YEARS
Our Brotherhood was founded on February 19, 1852 in Canonsburg, Pa. We've expanded for over 150 years, and the last 40 have been highly eventful. Some highlights:
  • 1977 - Headquarters moves to Indianapolis. Heritage Hall is Phi Psi's first repository for historical artifacts, and is also a top-tier Victorian-era museum.
  • 1996 - Presidents Leadership Academy (PLA) founded. Bringing chapter presidents from around the country together, PLA is now a mainstay of Phi Psi programming.
  • 2002 - Sesquicentennial. Phi Psi celebrates 150 years of excellence across the country, culminating in the 71st Grand Arch Council in Pittsburgh, Pa., just up the road from Canonsburg.
  • 2004 - New Headquarters. As the Fraternity outgrew Heritage Hall, a new opportunity was presented in Laurel Hall, the present Headquarters with a conference center and over 30,000 square feet of space.
  • 2008 - For the second time in its history, the North-American Interfraternity Conference is led by a Phi Psi: Robert F. Marchesani, Jr.
