Greetings from the men of Illinois Delta! The Spring semester was an eventful one for sure. All of the officers really took the initiative to ensure that their responsibilities were met and that everything ran smoothly. Some of our most dedicated officers for the Spring were our Recruitment Chairs, Konnor Depasqualie (’12), Brian Bergquist (’12) , and John Malandruccolo (’12). With yet another big class, the Recruitment Chairs did an excellent job in the quality of men that they brought into our Chapter. We would like to congratulate: Mark Colgan, Brandon Trebbien, Joey Rodriguez, Chris Wu, Kevin Lil, Andrew Karas, Abraham Omar, Paulius Dragunas, Adam Eichelberger and Mohammad Ali.

Philanthropy was also a big success for our chapter this semester. John Kenney (’13) really took it upon himself to get the brothers involved in every philanthropy event possible. In the competitive philanthropy events, the men from Illinois Delta showed a competitive nature by placing 2nd in the Delta Delta Delta Softball tournament and 4th in the Alpha Gamma Delta sand volleyball tournament.

Scholarship and academics has returned to our top five list of priorities, since our GPA goal was not met. Within the executive board, the officers have taken the necessary steps to ensure that the brothers devote time to their academics and to our chapter.

Although this semester has been jam packed with events and academics, the brothers still had time to enjoy our annual Formal, Penthouse, which is hosted at the Illinois Delta house. We were also able to fit a Semi-Formal, which was paid for by our Social Chairs.

As we anticipate for yet another crucial Fall Rush, the brothers are already preparing to ensure that improvements to our Chapter are made and that we continue to look forward to what the future can bring.
