The Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity is excited to announce a new addition to the Headquarters staff. Tony E. Vukusich Indiana State '06 will be transitioning from his role as the Phi Kappa Psi Foundation's Director of Programs & Stewardship into his new role as the Fraternity's Director of Alumni Services and Kevin J. Marks Valparaiso '92 is moving into his new position as Director of Housing.
"We are thrilled to have Tony joining the Headquarters team," Shawn Collinsworth, Executive Director, said. "With an additional staff person devoted to alumni services, our relationships and resources for our alumni associations and chapter advisory teams will continue to improve and expand."
With the continual growth of the Fraternity's alumni participation over the last several years, the Director of Alumni Services role was split into two specialized roles that will enable Tony and Kevin to best serve their individual groups. The Director of Alumni Services will work specifically with alumni associations, volunteers and mentoring programs; while the Director of Housing will concentrate his work on housing corporations and liaise with the Canonsburg Corporation.
Ben Nicol, Phi Kappa Psi Foundation CEO added, "Tony has been a very positive resource throughout the last few years for our membership and has worked tirelessly to improve the Foundation's stewardship and program directed efforts. His transition comes at a fitting time as Phi Psi works to build upon an already strong alumni involvement strategy. Tony's track record orchestrating complex scholarship and steward programs, as well as his strong leadership and personal qualities, and his strengths in communications and planning, will be well suited for his new role."
Prior to Tony's work with the Foundation, he spent two years as the University of Memphis Greek Life Advisor and volunteered as the chapter advisor for Indiana Eta (Indiana State) and Ohio Xi (Capital).
"I am thankful for this new opportunity and excited to continue supporting Phi Psi through my work at the Fraternity," Tony Vukusich said. "I truly believe in our brotherhood and am proud to take this next step in my career by developing relationships that will benefit our members and alumni associations."
Tony's first day as the Director of Alumni Services will be February 17, 2014. Please join us in welcoming Brother Vukusich to the Fraternity staff!
