Phi Kappa Psi Announces Launch of New Mobile Application

September 4, 2015 - After months of research and development, Phi Kappa Psi is finally ready to announce the launch of our new mobile application. This technology will provide all chapters with a way to improve internal communications. What makes it truly unique is that it has a special feature that allows you to add your alumni to the app and make it extraordinarily simple to drive engagement between the entire brotherhood. This provides enormous benefits for planning chapter events and communicating with all members who would want critical details. With so many options out there for communication between Google, Facebook groups/events, the internet, and various communication platforms built by outside companies, this chapter-branded solution gives you important Phi Psi contacts at your fingertips with social and website links throughout the app. It is available on a first come first serve basis; hurry and get your spot in the chapter roll-out schedule.

The solution developed by Private Group Networks (First Touch Greek Life) is not a solution aimed at eliminating privacy by giving Headquarters visibility into what is going on at the chapter, but rather it provides the chapter a means to better communicate directly to individuals or groups internally. The application was piloted at the American Leadership Academy in early 2015, Woodrow Wilson Leadership School this past summer, and it has already been deployed to 10 pilot chapters.

The product provides several key features, built intentionally to allow maximized chat functions and event management capabilities for both undergraduate and alumni events. Once created, these events are readily available on your phone and are easily copied to your personal calendar if desired. Important profile data of the members and alumni are available (while still maintaining privacy) along with profile data on the chapter and its officers. There are also links to key contacts at the Phi Kappa Psi Headquarters. Other useful links available on the application include chapter social media/websites, the Phi Kappa Psi website, lost brothers, and the ability to donate to the Fraternity through the Foundation site.
