Introducing Phi Kappa Psi’s New Executive Director

Mark Guidi.jpgINDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 1, 2016 - After a long and exhausting search, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity is proud to announce the hiring of Phi Kappa Psi's next Executive Director. Please join us in welcoming Mark A. Guidi (Virginia Tech '84) to the Fraternity's Headquarters team.

Guidi brings an extraordinary professional background and expertise to the Fraternity. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science and a M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. In addition, he possesses a M.A. in Organizational and Leadership Development from Fielding Graduate University, and he has earned a CFP Certificate from Florida State University and a Certificate in Executive Training from the Coaches Training Institute. Professionally, Guidi most recently served as a Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Operations and Chief of Staff to the CFO for LPL Financial. Previously, Guidi served as a Director, Operations Strategy and Planning for Cisco, Inc., as a Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory Services for Ernst & Young, LLP, and as Director, Performance Improvement for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Guidi's extensive in-depth and broad-ranging business and business transformation skills will be a benefit to Phi Kappa Psi. He possesses terrific knowledge for improving how organizations execute their strategic planning and capital planning processes, for helping companies plan, implement and measure the impact of change, and for improving the overall organization and performance of each business. Collectively, Guidi has over 25 years of experience helping companies to engage and succeed in navigating change and transformation.

Guidi will be highly visible and resourceful to all of the Fraternity's stakeholders. He has stated many times that he strives to be in tune with clients' needs, wants and desires. He believes it is vital for success that everyone understands their own role and why it is critical to the ultimate outcome.

Guidi has outstanding professional credentials, a gregarious personality, a passion for excellence and dedication to Phi Kappa Psi. Mark is a 1998 initiate to the Order of S.C., and has remained an active member of the Virginia Zeta alumni network since graduation.

The Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity is a 501(c)(7) association of men of integrity who strive to develop the individual in his intellect, in his involvement in the community and in his faith. The Fraternity was founded on February 19, 1852 at Jefferson College by William Henry Letterman and Charles Page Thomas Moore. It currently has 100 chapters across the United States, with over 6,500 undergraduate members and over 80,000 living alumni.
