SUBMITTING CHAPTER NEWS FOR FALL 2025
Chapter News is collected each semester to showcase the incredible work happening across our chapters and colonies. These updates help us share your accomplishments with the entire Phi Kappa Psi community — especially our alumni, who enjoy seeing the impact our undergraduate members continue to make.
Every group needs to submit at least one update by December 1 to be included in the next issue of The Shield.
Each submission should include:
- A short write-up (50–100 words or about 3–4 sentences)
- A photo that captures your submission (optional, but preferred)
- The details that make it special (what happened, who was involved, and why it mattered)
Submitting is simple: fill out the Chapter News Submission Form. The form link can also be found under The Shield dropdown on our website.
Best Practices for Submitting
- Don’t wait: Submit news as events happens so you don’t forget
- Keep it concise: Focus on what made the event meaningful or memorable
- Include clear, high-quality photos: Action shots or group photos
- Celebrate all kinds of wins: Service, scholarship, leadership, or brotherhood — we want to hear about it all
