As we prepare for the 2026 Grand Arch Council in Scottsdale, nominations are officially open for this year’s Phi Kappa Psi Awards. These honors celebrate the individuals, chapters, and volunteers who truly live our values and push our Fraternity forward.
Whether your chapter has standout leaders, strong academics, meaningful service work, or incredible growth this year, now is the time to make sure that impact is seen.
Why Your Chapter Should Participate
Awards are more than plaques or recognition on stage—they:
- Highlight the strength and character of your chapter
- Celebrate brothers who go above and beyond
- Show campus partners and alumni the impact of your work
Every chapter is encouraged and should submit nominations. Multiple submissions are encouraged, and every award offers a chance to lift up people who deserve the spotlight.
How to Apply
All nominations must be submitted through the official GAC Awards Submission Form. Each category lists required materials and documentation in this PDF.
The deadline to submit nominations for awards is June 1, 2026. Don’t wait until finals season — start preparing your nominations now!
Awards Your Chapter Can Nominate For
Below is a breakdown of awards specifically relevant to undergraduate members and chapters. Use this as a checklist as you decide who best represents your group’s achievements this year.
Undergraduate Individual Awards
Each chapter or colony is encouraged to nominate one member (or more!) per award.
- Outstanding Undergraduate of the District Award
- One undergraduate from each district will be selected.
- Undergraduate of the Year Award
- The highest undergraduate honor. Selected from those nominated for Outstanding Undergraduate of the District Award.
- Outstanding Emerging Leader Award
- Ideal for a more recent initiate who is stepping up early and showing exceptional potential.
Chapter Awards
- Chapter Excellence Awards
- Recognizes well-rounded, high-performing chapters.
- Most Improved Chapter
- Recognizes the chapter with the most improvement in the past year. Selected from those nominated for Chapter Excellence Awards.
- Grand Chapter Award
- The most prestigious chapter honor. Selected from those nominated for Chapter Excellence Awards.
- Dr. Gordon Sparks Letterman Men’s Health Award
- Given to a chapter that demonstrates exceptional commitment to promoting men’s health and wellness.
- Membership Excellence Award
- Honors chapters with strong recruitment and retention practices. Multiple recipients possible
- Griffing–Tate Award for Continuing Education
- Recognizes chapters with extraordinary commitment to member development and continuing education.
- Scholastic Achievement Award
- Awarded to chapters with top-tier academic performance. Multiple recipients possible.
- Hyatt Eby Community Service Award
- Celebrates chapters that lead meaningful, measurable, and impactful service activities.
Alumni + Volunteer Awards
While undergraduates don’t receive these directly, your chapter should be nominate deserving individuals.
- Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award
- For advisors who show consistent dedication, mentorship, and support.
- Outstanding Campus Partner Award
- Recognizes university staff or departments who meaningfully support your chapter’s success.
