Ohio Iota hosted one of our most successful philanthropy events in recent memory — Quesadilla Night. This crowd-favorite brought in over $1,000 in a single evening, with all proceeds benefiting the Akron Children’s Burn Institute. Thanks to the enthusiasm of our members and the generosity of our campus community, we were able to exceed expectations and make a meaningful impact. Altogether, our chapter raised a little over $3,000 this semester for charitable causes — a testament to our commitment to service and brotherhood. We’re incredibly proud of the momentum we’ve built and are already planning to expand our outreach and fundraising efforts next semester.

The brothers found themselves with a 3.46 cumulative GPA, reigning first among fraternities in terms of academic excellence. We have also adopted a local non-profit youth center, Two-Fifty-Four, located in Gahanna, where we hold mentoring sessions and connect with the local community. Our Formal trip was to Indianapolis, where we toured the illustrious Laurel Hall. To finish out the year, we held our annual Mud Tug in a new format: after dark. Twelve teams of five hit the trench to battle it out, with over 150 student spectators, culminating in another successful year for Ohio Xi. LEDN

Despite still being a small chapter, our commitment to expansion and sustainability remains. One of the key concerns for our newly elected executive board has been debt elimination from the chapter. The board has worked hard and carefully, partnering with national leadership to develop and implement a feasible repayment plan. Our chapter is committed to rebuilding, recruiting, and revitalizing our presence at York College. We can’t wait to see what the future holds and feel confident that the foundations being laid today will create a stronger chapter tomorrow.

Pennsylvania Phi – Lycoming

Penn Phi had some small events to get to know students — game nights, volleyball and such. We did a ton of service projects this semester, planting, cleanup, the egg hunt, the longest night, food serving and many small activities here and there. Brother Brandon Chiguichon ’22 has been exceedingly helpful and handled duties beyond the role of president, which has made it easy to keep morale up. He made sure we all participated in service, in making friends, and in getting our name out there.
