2021 District Council Meetings
In February of 2021, the Executive Council postponed District Council Meetings due to the uncertainty of the pandemic and its impact on the health and well being of college age students and their loved ones. Since February, a lot has changed. With the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine and the continuous decline in cases, the Executive Council has made the decision to move forward with District Council Meetings.
The following locations have been selected to host the 2021 District Council Meetings:
- District I: August 7-8, 2021 in Scranton, Pennsylvania
- District II: August 21-22, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio
- District III: August 7-8, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana
- District IV: August 21-22, 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia
- District V: August 14-15, 2021 in Lawerence, Kansas
- District VI: August 14-15, 2021 in Los Angeles, California
It is the chapter’s responsibility to identify a delegate(s) to be attendance. Our current plan is for delegates to arrive on Saturday morning for the meeting. We have budgeted for two undergraduate brothers to attend from each chapter, along with archon candidates (not counted as a delegate for the chapter). Archon Elections
One of the critical aspects of District Council Meetings is the election of Archons. Archons elected at the District Council Meeting will serve on the Executive Council through 2023. If you are interested in declaring your candidacy for an Archon position, please complete this form. We will provide more communication as time gets closer.
