Embark is Phi Psi’s comprehensive new member education program combining online modules with in-person meetings led by fraternity educators.

Fraternity educators should review the Embark Facilitator Guide ahead of induction and create a plan for a successful new member class.

Key Requirements

• Must be completed within 6 weeks of induction and before initiation.
• All fall new members must complete by December 14, 2026, per minimum standards.

• Facilitator Guide + New Member Workbook
  • The Facilitator Guide is the primary resource for how to lead new members through Embark. There are six in-person sessions outlined that include directions on content to cover, questions to ask, and activities to lead. This also includes a range of time each component of the session should take. There are expanded resources in the Facilitator Guide focusing on the experience, including information on session preparation and planning, tips for facilitation, utilizing advisors and alumni, addressing issues, and strategies for success.
  • The New Member Workbook is the primary resource for new members that includes information, resources, and supporting materials for activities and in-person sessions. The guide can be accessed electronically for each session, or it can be downloaded and printed.
