Founders Day Events

Founders Day celebrations are a great way to connect with alumni and undergraduate brothers. Events often include lunch celebrations, golf outings, chapter house tours and much more! As more information becomes available for each group, this page will be updated. Please email Founders Day plans and information to alumni@phikappapsi.com.


Chapter Events

The Florida Alpha chapter and the North Florida AA will host our Founders Day event on Saturday, February 19th at 11:30 a.m. ET at Township restaurant. In order to attend the event, you must pay the price of $30/person. This can be paid through cash and check (written out to Phi Kappa Psi Florida Alpha) at the event, or through Zelle to the treasurer of the Florida Alpha chapter beforehand.

The Illinois Zeta chapter plans to host an in-person event on February 19, 2022.

Join Minnesota Beta and the Twin Cities AA to celebrate Founders Day and the recent Grand Chapter award! On Friday, February 18 from 6-9 p.m. CT at the McNamara Alumni Center, we will gather in fellowship over dinner, hear from National Vice President Bob Marchesani and announce the scholarship award recipients. The Minnesota Delta (Minn. – Duluth) chapter plans to host an in-person event on February 19, 2022.

This year’s Founders Day and Scholarship Banquet will be on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Lincoln Country Club, 3200 South 24th Street. The social hour will start at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7. We plan to host a brunch at the house on Sunday morning followed by a tour and chance a to get to know some of our outstanding members better.

The  Texas Beta chapter and Texas South Plains AA are pleased to announce Brother Alan Henry as our guest speaker for Founder’s Day on February 12 at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center from 6:30pm-9pm. Brother Henry is president of Alan Henry Insurance. He is a former mayor of Lubbock, Texas, and is a past president of the Texas Tech Alumni Association National Board of Directors and a past chairman of the Texas Tech Foundation. Lubbock’s primary surface water supply, Lake Alan Henry, is named in his honor. Following the TCU vs Tech basketball game (tickets on your own) we will have a cocktail hour from 6:30-7:30 followed by dinner and reception. Click here for tickets.

2022 Founders Day at the Races

Join the Arkansas AA on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Arkansas AA is not responsible for rooms and costs associated with reservations.

The group has sponsored Race #3 on Saturday, February 19 and has reserved seating. Please plan to arrive no later than noon. A photo opportunity will occur at the conclusion of the race.

Join the Pittsburgh AA at the Duquesne Club to celebrate Founders Day on Thursday, February 17 starting at 6 p.m. ET. Cost is $95 per person and includes a cocktails and dinner. A dress coat and tie are required. The group will be going to the Blend Cigar Bar after the event. To purchase tickets, click here. The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, February 10.
