PHI KAPPA PSI FRATERNITY ELECTS EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AT THE 82ND GRAND ARCH COUNCIL

INDIANAPOLIS – August 12, 2026 – The Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity has announced the election of its Executive Board for the 2026-2028 biennium following elections conducted during the 82nd Grand Arch Council, held July 15-18, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Delegates representing Phi Kappa Psi chapters and alumni associations from across North America selected four distinguished brothers to serve in the Fraternity’s highest elected leadership positions.

Elected to serve on the Executive Board are:

  • President: Charles “Chuck” Brandman CWRU ’70
  • Vice President: Paul Oblon Purdue ’90
  • Treasurer: Ruben Campos Texas Tech ’95
  • Secretary: Joshua “Rhodie” Mitchell Kentucky ’95

The newly elected officers bring decades of volunteer leadership, professional experience, and dedication to Phi Kappa Psi.

“Chuck has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to Phi Kappa Psi through his service on the Executive Council and his dedication to advancing the Fraternity’s mission,” said Ronald Ransom II Butler ’00, Executive Director of Phi Kappa Psi. “Alongside Brothers Oblon, Campos, and Mitchell, this Executive Board possesses a remarkable combination of institutional knowledge, leadership experience, and passion for our Fraternity. We are excited to work together as we continue to strengthen the undergraduate and alumni experience.”

President Chuck Brandman joined the Executive Council in 2022 when he was elected National Treasurer. During his service, he has helped guide the Fraternity through significant strategic and operational initiatives while supporting the Council’s work to advance Phi Kappa Psi’s long-term vision.

Vice President Paul Oblon returns to elected leadership after previously serving as National Secretary from 2002 to 2004. He also served for 17 years as a trustee of the Phi Kappa Psi Permanent Fund, providing leadership and stewardship of the Permanent Fund’s financial resources and investments.

Treasurer Ruben Campos was elected to the Executive Council in 2024 as National Secretary. During the past biennium, he played an important role in governance initiatives and organizational planning, helping support the Fraternity’s continued growth and effectiveness.

Secretary Rhodie Mitchell brings a unique combination of volunteer and professional experience to the Executive Board. He previously served as Phi Kappa Psi’s Volunteer Director of Governance and was a member of the Fraternity’s headquarters staff from 1998 to 2004. His extensive knowledge of the Fraternity’s operations and governance will be a valuable asset to the Executive Council.

The Executive Board serves as the elected leadership team of the Phi Kappa Psi Executive Council and is responsible for providing strategic direction, governance oversight, and stewardship of the Fraternity’s mission. Working alongside six undergraduate archons, volunteer leaders, and staff, the Board will help guide Phi Kappa Psi as it continues to develop ethical, responsible leaders and strengthen the lifelong bonds of brotherhood.
