Maryland Alpha – Johns Hopkins

We had a busy fall at Hopkins. Our brothers won the school’s Interfraternity Council soccer tournament, earning $1,000 and an additional donation from other fraternities to the charity we support: Swim Across America. We partnered with Alpha Phi in a pickleball tournament and Kappa Kappa Gamma in a kickball tournament. Within the community, we ran a mini golf event for Baltimore students being tutored at Hopkins, as well as a “Pie a Psi” event for Camp Kesem. Our brothers on the water polo team earned the No. 5 seed in the MPSF Tournament. Brothers Phillip Long ‘25, Alec Baker ‘24, and Andrew Lee ‘25 received All-Conference recognition for their performance in the pool. In the classroom last spring, our brothers excelled. We achieved a term GPA of 3.72, the highest among all fraternities. We also had the most community service hours and the most money raised for charity. We look forward to a successful upcoming recruitment, which occurs in the spring at Hopkins.

Maryland Delta – Towson

The Maryland Delta chapter had a lot of success over the fall semester. We partnered with the Red Cross to help organize blood drives at Towson. We partnered with Kappa Delta for the annual Dance the Madness Greek Contest. We volunteered at the annual chili cook-off hosted by the Baltimore station at Camden Yards. We’ve been an integral voice on campus and helped Towson’s Fraternity and Sorority Life in numerous ways.

The Ohio State University Colony

The Ohio Delta Colony at The Ohio State University wrapped up a busy semester preparing for its spring chartering ceremony. We are very excited to have this opportunity once again and cannot wait to host the occasion. Some of our brothers participated in Brutus’ Birthday Bash, marking the 60th birthday of the school’s mascot. The brothers joined nearly 2,000 students, faculty and staff to successfully break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing party hats.

Ohio Theta – Ashland

For the fifth year in a row, we won Lip Sync, a competition among our Greek community, with all ticket proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We hosted a Safe Driving Week campaign in November, encouraging our campus not to drive distracted. We opened our house to our families and friends for a Dad’s Day cookout, Friendsgiving, and a faculty and staff appreciation dinner. We raised more than $1,800 for St. Jude’s during our head-shaving event — special thanks to Carter Speakman ‘24 for volunteering to shave his head. Our chapter also donated a check for $3,000 to our local philanthropy, Camp Nuhop, in November. To end the semester, our brothers — with the help of girlfriends and the ladies of Delta Zeta and ADPi — decorated our chapter house inside and out for Christmas. The Ohio Iota chapter had a successful semester marked by growth and leadership across campus. Our chapter expanded by 50%, reflecting our commitment to values-based recruitment and a strong brotherhood experience. We are proud to recognize Aidan Sullivan ‘22 and Jacob Dye ‘22, who were inducted into the Order of Omega for their outstanding academic performance, leadership and service within the fraternity community. Ohio Iota also continued its tradition of strong involvement in Fraternity and Sorority Life. This semester, one brother was elected IFC president, and another was elected IFC vice president of risk management, demonstrating our chapter’s dedication to leadership and service beyond our own ranks. Ohio Iota looks forward to building on this momentum as we continue developing men of intellect, character and integrity.

Ohio Xi – Capital

This semester was highly successful for the Ohio Xi chapter. After initiating 11 new brothers, we went on a brotherhood retreat to a cabin in Hocking Hills, where we spent two days creating and deepening bonds through hikes, game nights and meals together. To kick off the fall semester, we hosted our annual Volleyball Tournament with Alpha Sigma Alpha, raising $306, which we split between our philanthropy, two.fifty.four, and their philanthropy. We prioritize leadership and helping brothers develop their skills in the chapter and beyond. To aid in that development, we sent eight brothers to Launch at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana, where they learned more about their leadership skills and how to improve. Afterward, they toured the National Headquarters, Laurel Hall, in Indianapolis. Overall, this semester reflected our chapter’s commitment to our values through service, brotherhood, and growth.

This semester, we brought in nine new members, the largest class in two years. We hosted our annual Haunted Hollow, which gathered roughly 450 students and community members. Phi Kappa Psi earned Organization of the Month in November for the Hollow. We celebrated our former advisor’s birthday in October and raised funds for Hunter’s Fund with our Hot Ones challenge. We also collaborated with Phi Psi Allegheny for a brothers’ weekend.

We had many positive accomplishments. Some members received internships with Morgan Stanley, PNC Bank, KPMG and other high-level companies. We also reached the championships in both intramural basketball and softball. Our chapter was on pace to break our fundraising record for the Penn State-based charity THON. Proceeds from a philanthropy event planned for Saturday, Dec. 6, benefit the lung cancer research fund established in honor of the mother of one of our active members.

Over the fall, Pennsylvania Phi participated with the Williamsport Area School District in a program called VISION, which helps mentor students by promoting a passion for learning and developing vocational skills. Brothers Brandon Chiguichon ‘22, Finnegan Kimber ‘24 and Cameron Wanner ‘23 participated by tutoring and coaching students in building projects. We hope to continue the program and engage additional students and faculty. We hope our involvement promotes career building among participants.

West Virginia Alpha – WVU

Our chapter focused on making a real impact in Morgantown through consistent volunteer work. West Virginia faces some of the highest poverty and food insecurity rates in the country. Once a month, we organize brothers to assist a local food pantry with its distribution. We help set up stations early in the morning, and a line of 50-75 cars moves through the site. Drivers tell us how many families they are supporting, and we fill their vehicles with food. What we love about this work is how clearly it reflects The Great Joy of Serving Others. This has strengthened our community and helped us grow as young men in pursuit of our fraternity’s ideals. Brothers traveled to Toronto for formal, initiation was held Dec. 5 and elections were Dec. 7, 2025.
