Illinois Delta – Illinois
Submitted By: Matthew Greenstein ’23
Illinois Delta had a strong and productive fall semester, building on the momentum of last spring’s exceptional recruitment. We hosted numerous events, with Dad’s Weekend standing out as a major highlight. Brothers and families gathered for a morning tailgate before the Illinois football game, followed by an afternoon barbecue at the chapter house that brought everyone together for food, music and conversation. Our biannual barn dance was another standout event, featuring bus transportation to a decorated barn, country music, dancing and a fun night away from campus. Chaplain Max Schilawski ’24 also launched a weekly Bible study open to all members, creating a meaningful space for reflection, community and personal growth. The fall 2025 Semi-Formal at Alto Winery offered a scenic evening with dinner, music and camaraderie, giving brothers and their dates a chance to celebrate. Early November’s annual Frost party transformed the chapter house into a winter-themed venue with lighting, decorations and a DJ, closing out the semester with one of the most memorable nights of the year. The chapter continued its commitment to service through campus cleanups and uplifting chalk messages and implemented weekly study hours to support academic success.

Illinois Theta had a phenomenal semester marked by growth, achievement, leadership and strong brotherhood. We kicked off the fall by volunteering at the Chicago Marathon, where brothers showed up in full force to give back to the community and represent the chapter. Financially, we made major strides, raising $20,000 through various philanthropy events to reduce chapter debt — a major milestone that energized the entire brotherhood. Socially, the chapter hosted several successful events, including its semiannual barn dance and a packed Fratsgiving celebration. This semester also marked a historic moment for Illinois Theta as we doubled our chapter size, earning UIC’s highest bid count and largest initiation class. We’re proud of the work and dedication our brothers have shown and look forward to continuing this momentum.

Michigan Beta – Michigan State
Submitted By: Conor McMahon ’23, Ben Chu ’24
The chapter recognizes two outstanding brothers, advisors and alumni — Ed Dudgeon ‘70 and Jerry Grossi ‘67 — who continue to go above and beyond for Phi Kappa Psi Michigan Beta. Over the past several months they worked to secure a new rental chapter house while the chapter searches for a permanent home that can support growing membership. From reviewing properties to negotiating details and making sure we had a safe and reliable place to live, their hard work made a real difference for the chapter. Both alumni exemplify leadership, service, and loyalty to their brothers. In the shared photo, Ed is seen taxiing his airplane after surprising a brother with a joyride as a thank-you for helping prepare the house — a gesture that represents the generosity and brotherhood they bring to Phi Kappa Psi. We are grateful for you, Ed and Jerry — thank you for being true gentlemen and brothers. Recently, the chapter elected its executive board for the 2026 calendar year and initiated 18 new members. Michigan Beta looks to build on this success in 2026.

Another sophomore, Asher Donahue ‘25, led the NCAC in goals with 11 on the season. Six Phi Psi seniors ended their college soccer careers, and on Senior Day many brothers came out to support. In November we held our annual Dad’s Day, and we gathered for our second annual Fratsgiving.
