Our service effort continues to reflect our Phi Kappa Psi values through meaningful experiences such as philanthropy, social events, brotherhood activities and mentorship. Throughout the year, we remain committed to supporting the B+ Foundation in its fight against childhood cancer.

MIT Colony

Submitted by: Jack DeBaugh

Phi Kappa Psi MIT Colony welcomed seven first-year members and two additional brothers from last spring’s recruitment. Our colony is developing a service partnership with the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House in Cambridge, which provides food assistance and community programs that support family stability. Brothers helped with house maintenance and the Thanksgiving turkey drive, and we raised $1,000 for the organization by winning a campus Halloween decorating contest. We also held a Push for Pink breast cancer research fundraiser that brought in another $1,000 through chapter-wide challenges. Earlier in the semester, we hosted an alumni outing to a Boston Red Sox game, enabling brothers to meet and reconnect with alumni in a fun setting. Within the house, we continued to focus on brotherhood, highlighted by our Thanksgiving dinner prepared by our chef. The colony is excited to maintain its strong membership by continuing to recruit exceptional brothers, deepen its community impact, and work toward officially chartering in 2026.

Submitted by: Joseph Christel ’24

New Jersey Delta at TCNJ had a very successful fall 2025 semester. The chapter formed a partnership with TCNJam, an on-campus nonprofit organization that works with the B+ Foundation to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. Through this partnership, the chapter was selected to receive a B+ Hero, an honorary brother named Arya, who is battling leukemia. Brothers organized several hangout sessions with Arya and his family to integrate him into the brotherhood and show their support. The chapter also hosted a candle lighting on Nov. 19 — the birthday of late Brother Michael Sot ’18 — in partnership with the HERO Campaign. All brothers attended along with Sot’s family and closest friends as kind words were shared to honor his memory. Brothers are excelling in the classroom and anticipating an even more successful spring 2026 semester.

Submitted by: Ryan Moore ’25

Over the past semester, Pennsylvania Eta strengthened its relationship with alumni through Zoom meetings, emails, and phone calls. During the annual True Blue Weekend barbecue on Sept. 20, alumni from many generations connected with each other and with current brothers, offering advice that will support members’ success. The chapter also focused on philanthropy by partnering with the Conestoga River Club to raise awareness and assist with river cleanup efforts. Brothers spent hours removing trash and debris, and some incorporated the work into academic presentations. Pennsylvania Eta looks forward to continuing its progress.
